Dan Fogelberg Festival

Come on down to the Spirit of Peoria and celebrate the music and life of an amazing singer/songwriter and one of Peoria most well-known favorite sons.

August 2011 would have been Dan’s 60th birthday and to coincide with all the Dan Fogelberg Celebrations taking place in Peoria the weekend of August 12–14th, the Spirit is offering a Dan Fogelberg Festival Cruise on Friday night, August 12th.

Food (Fogelburgers) will be served on the dock at 7:00 and the 2 hour cruise will take place from 8:30–10:30. Music will be provided by Barry Cloyd and members of the Acoustic All-Stars, the band which brought SRO crowds to their feet in 2010’s Dan Fogelberg Celebration in downtown Peoria. Not only will you enjoy the spirit and camaraderie of the fans of Dan, you’ll also be able to hear many of his great songs performed by the All-Stars.
