To help kickoff this year's Steamboat Days Festival, PACE and the Spirit of Peoria proudly present the Steamboat Days Kickoff Cruise aboard the Spirit of Peoria, featuring The New Imposters.

Taking place on the Riverfront in downtown Peoria, the 42nd annual Steamboat Days Festival combines a bigger, better carnival, delicious food and drinks, great musical entertainment and more in a family-friendly atmosphere! Don't miss the return of the All American Lumberjack Show, great regional and local bands, and many other activities and attractions!

To kickoff the festival, the carnival opens on Thursday, June 13. Also on Thursday, June 13, PACE proudly presents the Steamboat Days Kickoff Cruise aboard the Spirit of Peoria, featuring The New Imposters.

The New Imposters

The New Imposters are a power pop/rock and roll trio hailing from Peoria, IL. A band firmly rooted in that mystical place where melody, harmony, and jangly guitars will forever be king.

The band features tight three piece musical arrangements, full three part vocal harmonies, catchy timeless songs with danceable beats and sing-along melodies. The sound and vibe hark back to the old school cool of '60's and '70's pop.

Not your typical classic rockin' pop group, The New Imposters' refreshing departure from todays norm has set them apart as a real music lovers band. Each set features an eclectic mix of enduring songs, b-sides, and deep cuts from classic albums that every music fan should own.
